Timbo puts the pressure on
Timbo is trailing badly in his bid to become the next Person of the Week. Frankly, no-one has voted for Timbo at all - not even Timbo, who inexplicably gave his vote to Eton Road. All of which means he is currently in fourth place behind Donna, Elvis and Eton Road. But he is fighting back, by posting this fantastic photo on his blog. I like it so much I am going to vote for him.

Oh Dave. I am sooooo disappointed in you! Your love affair with Timbo is clouding your decision.

I vote again (seventeen times) for Donna and I vote three times for Elvis. And Eton Road are out. So I vote for Leona too.
But Timbo does look very nice ... can't he be the person of the week next week. Then I won't feel sad that I didn't vote for him. And you can post another lovely picture of him (I must add that he is featuring a lot on this blog ;-)

I vote for Timbo, 'cos if he was person of the week and HE suggested that maybe I should buy it, I would seriously consider doing so.
Ooh dear, it's getting hot in heere. Nelly's spelling, not mine.
I bought the book today! It was a reward for myself, and I am so excited about it. There were two copies in my bookstore, so I bought one and turned the other one out so that it's cover was facing the front instead of the spine. I think it covered up some Nora Roberts.
I'm off to read it.
I am now halfway through, breaking only to eat and bath and live out my internet life.
I bought it at Indigo, which is sort of like our version of Borders, I think. I live in Toronto, and didn't have any trouble finding it at my local bookstore. I'm also going to be writing a review of it on the Indigo website.
Methinks Dinah is trying to steal in on my Person of the Week triumph!

But Dinah has bought it AND is reading it - instead of just posing with it in a frankly very attractive manner. Could she snatch the Person of the Week title from the grasp of Timbo and Donna? All will be revealed soon.

I think I can top Timbo - it's tricky.... but.....
If I am Person of the Week, I will send a photo of my black hairy (matching girl and boy) terrier dogs reading a copy EACH of E-Luv. And that will take some doing as they are a bit wilful and have never shown any interest in reading anything ever before (surprisingly) and are dogs, not people.
Alternatively, I also have a close up of Elvis's white catsuit which I am prepared to share, which shows clearly the plastic "jewels" and scratchy crimplene fabric.
VOTE DONNA!! And get to know just how many copies of E-Luv are in some of the biggest bookshops in London (Dave...)
