Here's why you must buy e-luv

I am so broke that I have had to sell my VERY RARE fanclub-only Saint Etienne CD, just to pay the rent. I heard from Mastercard this morning. They declined my request to increase the credit limit. Yesterday, the bank decided against giving me an overdraft. I just about have enough money left to buy food for the rest of the week. And that's it. To substantiate my 'starving artist' claim, here is my fridge. Tonight we will be having carrots and falafel. Tomorrow we will be having carrots.

How long would it take a food parcel to get to you? I really can't buy any more copies and I have already linked you twice from my site! Surely that must mean that I can be up for Person of the week again?

And may I commend you on your perfectly clean fridge!

Awwww, aren't you two just fabulously kind e-luvettes? But it's OK - I'm selling off a load of CDs I never listen to anyway (Menswear, James, Paul Weller etc). Thanks for offering, though and the fridge loved the compliment, Caroline. Jude, did you agree with the monkey when she dissed Oatibix? Have you tried it?

I sort of agreed. In that I am not very keen on Weetabix and Oatibix taste just the same to me.

Youngest offspring likes them. I haven't explained the whole new concept thingy though, since she is a bit conservative when it comes to food and information such as that might result in a half eaten packet of Oatibix lurking at the back of my cupboard for the next ten years (my cupboards aren't as well maintained as your fridge).

Glad that you're not wasting away!
I quite like being an e-luvette. Jude and I could get matching pink coats with 'e-luvette' scrawled over the back!
No idea who Menswear is? and glad the fridge is happy.

I am beginning to worry you have wasted away. I have a food parcel. Just say the word and it will be yours.

Do not worry, e-luvettes. I am still here and have discovered a slight loophole in Mastercard's billing setup, which means I've half filled the famous fridge. Of course, if you still feel the need to send food parcels (I can send some rubbish NZ things in exchange), do email me: dave@stripeyjumper.com.
